About
About me
Hi, I’m Mary,
Dedicated Educator for over 20 years. Creative Storyteller, as illustrated in my book, “Distance Too Far: A Young Girl’s Spiritual Journey,” to Empower, Encourage, and Engage women to succeed through adversity.
Creating lessons and activities for students was a powerful way of learning copywriting. Transforming through my career from Loans in Banking, Sales, and Service in Insurance, Software Trainer in the Court System, and Teacher to Writer, allowed me the opportunity to produce content for employers and clients. There I provided direct response emails, newsletter articles, sales proposals, HR job descriptions, procedure manuals, work instructions, and more.
My new novelette, Distance Too Far A Young Girl’s Spiritual Journey is a sample of the quality of writing that will be provided to your organization.
At A Prymary View, our number one goal is to listen and understand your message then redefine it in a way that creates change and inspiration in the readers mind to take action. To help them do this let’s get started.
About me
Mary Pryor is a first-time author who has journaled for over 30 years. As a breast cancer survivor and subsequent life-changing experiences, she felt compelled to reevaluate her life and reinvent herself through writing.
Her new novelette, Distance Too Far A Young Girl’s Spiritual Journey takes you on the journey of Beth, a 15-year-old as she comes of age much faster than expected. Faith and family are intertwined bringing about a revelation that can make or break the lives of everyone involved.
Mary is a published poet in Echoes of Yesterday by The National Library of Poetry (Editor), the poem “God’s Love, Peace, and Joy.” She is also published in the International Who’s Who in Poetry, 2004 ( Various) (Author) poem, “Untitled.”
She has spent over 20 years teaching, listening, mentoring, and learning from each student, from kindergarten to adults about the issues that affect the lives of women from a cross-cultural perspective.
Mary created the blog Aprymaryview (A Pryor Mary View) to help address issues that matter to women transitioning through the stages of life as she has herself. Women deal with the overwhelming factors of aging while working full-time, running a household, caring for a spouse, supporting live-in adult children and/or grandchildren, and being a caregiver for aging parents.
While raising a family she has transitioned in careers over the years as a teacher, trainer, sales, and customer service person while attending college to obtain an MEd in Special Education, and an MA in Communication in Training and Development, with BA in Business Management.
She is a lifelong lover of learning. An Orlando-based author originally born and raised in Canton, Ohio she enjoys the beauty and weather in Florida where she lives with her husband.
My Goal
Be a Writer and Speaker who motivates and encourages women to believe in themselves by using their experiences in order to achieve their goals and dreams.
My writings are through the lens of transformative living by my favorite scripture: Rom. 12:2 … but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Transformation changes lives, relationships, careers, and more. As the author of Distance Too Far: A Young Girl’s Spiritual Journey this story is a compilation of many women who have come through that transformation depicted by the young girl Beth.
My Mission
Write books, articles and other publications to empower women in their daily lives to achieve their goals and find their true purpose in life.
